Longevity Vallay

Longevity Valley or Aoshan Longevity Valley lies on the east hillside of Mt. Nanshan, terrain of which is shaped in synergy to the mountain and spreads in the form of valley. The valley extends 2300 meters long, making itself a wonder of rainforest, where features tittering birds, flowing streams, lush woods and oddly-shaped rocks. The designer used the natural terrain smartly to display the essence of longevity culture through “moving” and “still” formations from different perspectives to perfectly blend the longevity culture into the rainforest wonders. Prime landscapes include: “Amitayus Buddha” (or Buddha of Infinite Life), “Liushui Arhat”, the huge stone inscription “life lasts as long as the age of Mt. Nanshan” by Qi Gong, a famous calligrapher, “Longevity Staircase” and “Longevity-Wish Hall”, etc. All these embody the beautiful wishes lying in Chinese culture to extend blessings of longevity and attract especially the senior tourists.
